SalesQL Cookie Policy

v1.1Updated 12 May 2026Effective 7 May 2026

Цей документ доступний лише англійською мовою.

Англійська версія є офіційною з юридичної точки зору. Інтерфейс сайту перекладено для зручності.

This Cookie Policy explains how SALESQL LTD ("SalesQL", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on salesql.com, on the SalesQL web application and on related web properties (collectively, the "Sites"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

If you do not want certain cookies to be placed on your device, you can change your preferences at any time using the cookie preferences link in the website footer.

#1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your browser or device when you visit. They allow the website to recognise the device on subsequent visits and to remember information about your visit.

In this Policy, "cookies" includes:

  • Browser cookies (first-party and third-party).
  • Pixel tags, web beacons and clear GIFs.
  • Local storage and similar storage mechanisms (such as IndexedDB and the Web Storage API).
  • Server-side fingerprinting signals associated with a session.

Cookies can be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain on your device until they expire or are deleted).

#2. Categories of cookies we use

We classify cookies into the following categories. Each category corresponds to a separate consent control in our cookie banner.

#2.1 Strictly necessary cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are required for the Sites to function. They support session management, authentication, security, fraud prevention, load balancing, and the recording of your cookie preferences. These cookies cannot be disabled because the Sites would not work without them. They are set on the basis of our legitimate interests, and where the law treats them as exempt from consent, no consent is requested.

#2.2 Functional cookies

Functional cookies remember choices you make to improve your experience (for example, language, region, or interface preferences). These cookies are set only when you give consent (or, in jurisdictions where consent is not required, on the basis of our legitimate interests).

#2.3 Analytics cookies

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Sites (for example, which pages are most visited, how long visitors stay, and where errors occur). We use this information to improve the Sites. These cookies are set only when you give consent.

#2.4 Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies are set by us or by our advertising and remarketing partners to measure advertising performance and, where applicable, to show you relevant advertisements on third-party platforms. These cookies are set only when you give consent.

#2.5 Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by third parties, such as analytics, support, or advertising partners. We list those third parties on our Subprocessors page and in the cookie inventory referenced in Section 5.

#3. The SalesQL cookie banner

When you visit the Sites from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, our cookie banner asks for your prior, informed consent before any non-strictly-necessary cookie is set, in line with the ePrivacy Directive, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR / EU GDPR.

You can:

  • Accept all non-strictly-necessary cookies.
  • Reject all non-strictly-necessary cookies.
  • Customise your choices by category.

Your preferences are stored in a strictly necessary cookie that records your choices. You can review or change your preferences at any time using the cookie preferences link in the website footer.

When you visit the Sites from the United States, we recognise and honour applicable opt-out signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, as described in Section 5 of our Privacy Policy.

#4. Lawful basis for cookies

#5. Cookie inventory

The current list of services and cookies active on the Sites is maintained inside our cookie consent panel. Click the "Cookie preferences" link in the website footer to open the panel; it displays each service's name, provider, purpose, category, and the cookies it sets. The panel is the live source of truth and reflects any change we make to our analytics, marketing or other tooling.

If you would like a snapshot of the cookies set on the page you are visiting, most modern browsers also provide a developer-tools view ("Application", "Storage" or similar) that lists active cookies for the current site.

#6. Specific notes on Campaigns and on Recipient devices

This Cookie Policy applies to the cookies that SalesQL sets on the devices of Visitors to our Sites and End Users of the Services.

When a SalesQL Customer uses Campaigns (our outbound communications product) to send messages to its Recipients, those messages may include open-tracking and click-tracking technologies. Those tracking technologies are set by the Customer, on the basis of the Customer's own lawful basis, and are described in Section 3.6 of the Privacy Policy. The Customer is responsible for any consent or disclosure obligations applicable to those tracking technologies under ePrivacy/PECR or other applicable law. Recipients with questions about a Campaigns message they received should contact the sender of that message.

#7. Browser extension

The SalesQL browser extension does not, by itself, set cookies on third-party sites you visit while the extension is active. The extension is documented in the Browser Extension Notice, which describes the data the extension processes and the permissions it requires.

#8. How to manage cookies in your browser

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings, including blocking all cookies, allowing only first-party cookies, or deleting cookies on exit. Disabling all cookies, including strictly necessary cookies, may prevent parts of the Sites from working. The relevant help pages are typically:
