What is a direct email?
It's the person's own address, usually Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo, as opposed to their work email on the company domain. Other tools call it a personal email. When both are available, SalesQL shows them side by side, with a verification status for each.
Is SalesQL free?
You can start for free. The Free plan includes 50 credits and 100 campaign recipients a month, with no credit card. The Chrome extension is free to install. Phone numbers and CSV enrichment come with paid plans, and the API with Professional and Premium.
How do credits work?
Searching doesn't use credits. Revealing a contact costs 1 credit, and if no email is found, you're not charged. Enrichment through a CSV, the API or Claude follows the same rule. Sending campaign emails doesn't use credits: it counts against your monthly recipient quota.
Can I use SalesQL inside Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. Add SalesQL to Claude as a connector and describe who you're looking for. Claude searches SalesQL — searching doesn't use credits — and reveals the contacts you pick, each email labeled work or direct. Revealing uses your plan's credits. It's available on Professional and Premium plans. It also works in Cursor and in ChatGPT, on the same SalesQL plans. In ChatGPT, it works as a custom connector with developer mode on.
Where does the data come from, and how can someone request removal?
SalesQL keeps a database of professional contact information, built from public business web pages, signals from our Chrome extension's Contributor Program, email-pattern inference and verification checks. Anyone can ask for a copy of their data or have their profile removed through our Privacy Center. Requests are verified by email and handled by our team.
